The enemy has always had one fatal flaw—he underestimates those who truly know God.

His strategy has never changed. Daniel 7:25 says that he seeks to "wear out the saints of the Most High." He hopes that pressure, disappointment, delay, and hardship will drain our faith until we surrender. But he miscalculates one thing: the strength of a believer is not found within themselves. It is found in the One who never grows weary.

Those who truly know their God know where to run when they are tired. They hide themselves in His presence. They refresh themselves in His Word. They strengthen themselves through prayer. They build themselves up by praying in the Spirit (Jude 20). They discover that "the joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). While the world sees weakness, heaven sees someone being renewed day by day.

History is filled with people who were underestimated. Goliath underestimated David because he saw only a shepherd boy, not a covenant with God. The Philistines underestimated Samson because they did not understand the source of his strength. The Jewish leaders underestimated the disciples because they mistook ordinary men for ordinary power. Nero underestimated the martyrs because he believed persecution could silence the gospel. The Nazis underestimated faithful Christians who chose obedience to Christ over fear of man. Time after time, the enemy has discovered that you cannot defeat people whose strength comes from God Himself.

Daniel 11:32 declares, "The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." Their confidence is not rooted in their abilities but in their relationship with Him. They may grow physically tired, but their spirit is continually renewed because they know how to return to the Source.

If you feel overlooked, dismissed, or underestimated today, don't be discouraged. The enemy may underestimate you, but God never does. Continue drawing near to Him. Let Him become your refuge, your renewal, your joy, and your strength. Those who truly know their God will always prove stronger than the enemy expected.
