“…and having done all, to stand.” — Ephesians 6:13

There are seasons when you have done everything you know to do. You have prayed. You have obeyed. You have worked. You have planted the seeds, watered them, remained faithful, and believed God—and yet you still haven't seen the harvest you expected.

What do you do when you have done all?

You stand.

Standing doesn't mean doing nothing. A farmer doesn't dig up his seed every few days to see if it is growing. He continues tending the field because he trusts the process of seedtime and harvest. In the same way, we continue praying, believing, obeying, serving, and doing what God has placed before us.

Sometimes we mistake delay for denial. Because we haven't seen the answer yet, we begin questioning what God told us. We become tempted to abandon the very place where God told us to stand.

There is certainly a time to evaluate, adjust, and seek God's direction. But there is also a time to stop second-guessing and simply remain faithful.

Don't allow temporary circumstances to make permanent decisions for you.

You may not see what is happening beneath the surface. You may not know which prayer is about to be answered, which seed is about to break through the ground, or which door God is preparing to open.

So keep praying. Keep believing. Keep obeying. Keep planting. Keep showing up.

And when you have done everything God has instructed you to do, don't become discouraged because you cannot yet see the results.

Stand.

Sometimes the victory doesn't belong to the person who discovered something new. Sometimes it belongs to the one who simply refused to leave the place where God told them to stand.
